Originally a computer assembled from the spares created following Erebus's upgrades that was initially intended to be used as a Windows machine so Erebus could become a dedicated linux box. However the demands of modern gaming and multimedia forced me to purchase new hardware for this machine which now surpasses Erebus's specs by a long shot.
Having since become rather dissilussioned with the whole Microsoft Windows family and as equally impressed by contemporary Linux distributions this computer now runs Ubuntu Linux with Wine as a Microsoft Windows legacy compatability layer. What Wine won't run I learn to do without, and as learning processes go I've found it to be one which is suprisingly easy...
