Computers / Erebus
Circa: 1999 - present
In a way, my first ever IBM-compatable Windows based PC, though most of the hardware has been replaced in the past six years. I think only the soundcard (purchased from either the fidonet buy-and-sell echo or uk.adverts.computer, can't remember which) is still in it's first incarnation, though that will have to be replaced following any future motherboard upgrade as ISA is now depricated.
Recently (april 2005) upgraded with a 900mhz Intel Celeron processor. I think the specs say 1.1 is the highest it can take and it may be a squeeze. I'll probably try rather than dump the mobo as it was a gift from a friend originally. The whole thing can process mail and run hlds so it'll always have a use even if other activities are moved elsewhere.
