Flapjacks
Should make 6-8 largish Flapjacks.
Ingredients
- 200g Rolled Oats
- 100g Oatmeal
- 50g Brown Sugar
- 3 tbs Golden Syrup
- 60g raisins
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 100g butter or butter substitute
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 200c
- Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a pot over medium heat stirring continuously. Add the peanut butter.
- Put dry ingredients and fruit in a bowl, stir in the melted ingreidents. Mix well.
- Pour ingredients into a small, well greased shallow baking tray and press down hard.
- Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
- When starting to turn golden brown remove and place aside to cool.
- When cool, empty the tray onto a hard plate or cutting surface and cut into small squares.
- Keep flapjacks in an airtight container.
